Your subscription

Free trial, then per location: monthly or pay as you go. How invoices, grace periods and pausing work.

Wispot is free for 21 days on every feature. No card needed.

After the trial, each location is billed one of two ways. You can mix them across locations. You're billed in your country's currency: your Billing page shows your exact prices, and the pricing page lists every country. For example, in Nigeria:

Monthly Pay as you go
Price ₦15,000 per location per month ₦30 per hour the location's gateway is online
Minimum — ₦2,500 for a location that came online that month
Maximum — never more than ₦15,000 per location
Offline all month ₦15,000 ₦0

Everything is included on both: unlimited routers, devices, customers and features.

Choose a plan for each location

Go to Billing in the dashboard and pick monthly or pay as you go for each location, then Confirm plans. Nothing is charged when you confirm: you're billed in arrears, for time already used. You can change a location's plan whenever you like; the plan it's on at the end of the month is used for that month.

Do this before your trial ends. If you haven't chosen plans by then, you get a 3-day grace period. After that, new Wi-Fi sales pause until you choose.

How online hours are counted

Your gateway checks in with Wispot every minute. Each clock hour in which a location's gateway checked in at least once counts as one online hour. Time during your free trial is never counted.

Invoices

An invoice is issued on the 1st of each month for the month before, with 7 days to pay. It lists each location, its plan and its charge. You'll get it by email, and you can view or print it under Billing → Invoices.

Your Wispot wallet

Invoices are paid from your Wispot wallet.

  • Top up by card on the Billing page. Card payments go to Wispot (this is separate from your customers' money).
  • With Auto-pay on, each invoice is paid from the wallet as soon as it's issued, if the balance covers it.
  • Paying an invoice by card from its page tops up exactly what's missing and pays it straight away.
  • Prefer a bank transfer, or card payments aren't available in your country yet? Contact us and we'll credit your wallet once the money arrives.

If an invoice isn't paid

When an invoice passes its due date, new Wi-Fi sales pause at your locations. Customers who already paid stay online, vouchers already sold still work, and your data, plans and customers are kept. Pay the invoice and selling resumes straight away.

We never take a cut of your Wi-Fi sales. Customer payments go straight to your own payment account.
