Vouchers and cash sales

Not everyone pays online. Wispot handles cash two ways.

#Printed vouchers

Go to Vouchers → Generate batch. Choose the plan, how many codes (up to 500), where they work, when unused codes expire, an optional prefix (for example KZ) and the price you sell each code for.

Print the sheet straight away. Codes are shown only once: we store a fingerprint of each code, not the code itself, so a leak of our database can't reveal or forge them.

Customers join the Wi-Fi, tap I have a voucher and type the code.

#Managing codes

Open a batch to see every code by its last 4 characters, whether it has been used and by whom. You can:

• disable one code: an unused code never works; a used one loses its access immediately, and
• void all unused codes in a batch, for example if a sheet goes missing.

#Recording a cash sale

For a customer paying cash, transfer or POS at the counter, go to Payments → Record a sale. Enter their phone number, pick the plan and how they paid. They get access straight away, and you get their login details to hand over. The sale shows in your statements with the payment method.
